Estados Unidos.- Las nominaciones a la edición 98 de los premios Oscar 2026, se anunciaron la mañana de este jueves 22 de enero en una ceremonia transmitida en vivo y conducida por los actores Danielle Brooks y Lewis Pullman en el Samuel Goldwyn Theater, en Los Ángeles, California.
De acuerdo con información, la Academia de Hollywood anunció que la película “Sinners”, de Ryan Coogler, impuso un nuevo récord al recibir 16 nominaciones, en Mejor Película, Mejor Dirección, Mejor Guion Original, Mejor Actor Protagónico (Jordan), Mejor Actor de Reparto (el actor británico Delroy Lindo) y Mejor Actriz de Reparto (la actriz británico-nigeriana Wunmi Mosaku).
Además de las categorías principales, la película competirá por Mejor Música Original, Mejor Canción Original, Mejor Diseño de Producción, Mejor Fotografía, Mejor Edición, Mejor Sonido, Mejores Efectos Visuales, Mejor Diseño de Vestuario, Mejor Maquillaje y Peinado, así como Mejor Casting, una nueva categoría competitiva.

Por su parte, “One Battle After Another” (‘Una batalla tras otra’), el éxito taquillero del aclamado director Paul Thomas Anderson también destaca con 13 nominaciones.
¿Cuándo serán los Premios Oscar 2026?
La ceremonia se llevará a cabo el 15 de marzo de 2026 en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood, Los Ángeles, California, y será transmitida en vivo en Estados Unidos por el canal ABC.
Durante el evento se entregarán los Premios de la Academia, conocidos popularmente como los Óscar, en 24 categorías. Será producida por Raj Kapoor y Katy Mullan. El comediante Conan O’Brien regresará como anfitrión de la ceremonia por segundo año consecutivo.
