Estados Unidos.- La mañana de este martes 5 de agosto, se dio a conocer la lista de los nominados para los premios Video Music Awards de MTV, conocidos por su abreviación “VMAs”. Los premios a lo mejor de la videomúsica tiene a grandes artistas compitiendo, con Lady Gaga liderando el campo con 12 nominaciones.

A través de redes sociales, los organizadores del evento dieron a conocer todos los detalles para esta edición que premian los mejores videos musicales del año, así como también categorías de Artista del Año que podrían llevarse un famoso astronauta de plata a casa.
Este año se celebrarán el 7 de septiembre en el UBS Arena de Nueva York y será transmitida por CBS, además de MTV y Paramount+. En España podrá seguirse a través de MTV España. Por otra parte, la edición 2025 marca un hito al incorporar dos nuevas categorías: Mejor Artista Pop y Mejor Video Country, ampliando así el espectro de géneros reconocidos.
